User acceptance in different fields is conventionally approached through the technology acceptance model. This paper suggests a revised version of this model based on six major constructs. In order to evaluate the model, a study was performed with the aim of testing the acceptance of e-commerce in Karnataka. The participants of the study are mobile commerce users of the north Karnataka region, who have used their mobile at least once for the purpose of online shopping, online banking or any other online services. The data was collected with the help of a well-designed, pre-administered questionnaire.
